removing www.wikimages.org
[szerkesztés]Why did you remove this link from the articles? I don't consider it as spam, it's quite normal site. misibacsi 2007. szeptember 27., 13:03 (CEST)
- Sorry for not having answered before.
- The link was spammed cross wiki, and consequently blacklisted on Meta. See Meta:Talk:Spam_blacklist/Archives/2007/09#wikimages.org. The linked website was also hotlinking images from Wikipedia and Commons, and hardly useful. That is why I removed the link. --Jorunn vita 2008. január 19., 18:52 (CET)
removing nostradamusprophecy.blogspot.com
[szerkesztés]Why did you remove this link? I consider this page quite normal. I removed a lot of spammer-links from articles, so I can identify them. misibacsi vita 2008. január 16., 10:51 (CET)
- The link was spammed cross wiki by someone with IP 87.250.110.188. The link was added to 33 Wikipedias over a few days, and the person who added the links didn't contribute with any other content to these 33 Wikipedias. Since the spamming contiued after I removed the link I will probably seek blacklisting on Meta for the link. That is why I removed the link. --Jorunn vita 2008. január 19., 18:52 (CET)
- I forgot to say - If you want to have the links you can whiteliste them here on hu.wikipedia, that will override the Meta blacklistings. Thanks. --Jorunn vita 2008. január 19., 18:57 (CET)
Spambot gibberish
[szerkesztés]Hi! Help me to understand what happens on (vitalap | | hivatk | | | | | | | ). How do you know, that - Four Seasons 2 Summer mvt 2 Adagio - John Harrison violin.oga&diff=2910024&oldid=2908156 this is a spambot? And if it is, why is it good for it to make such kind of edits? Bináris ide 2008. március 22., 20:25 (CET)
Thank you for your answer. I have deleted the page and protected it for 3 months against creation for anon users, because it was a redundant page of a Commons media file. But I still don't understand, why is it good for a spambot (or it's operator) to scribble a page that contains no links. What is the spam in this? I found some deleted text in the history of the page that may be interpreted as something similar to links but is not definitely link and I don't see, where it should point to. Maybe the bot hasn't realized that the original text had been deleted, and kept scribbling the page in order to make the search engines to see it being refreshed? - I don't understand what the spammers think, or how a spambot works.
- I suspect the activity is formated for forums rather than wikis. The links might just not come through on the wikis. Or maybe it is just vandalism, I don't know, sorry. --Jorunn vita 2008. április 10., 10:22 (CEST)
- Thank you. Bináris ide 2008. április 10., 10:35 (CEST)
