"18 évek"
[szerkesztés]Hello
What does it should mean? (incorrect of course in Hungarian, that's why I ask - I may correct it if you tell me your intention). Anyway, I thought you are Hungarian... misibacsi*üzenet 2018. június 23., 07:56 (CEST)
Hallo.
Sp, it would be better: "Oroszországban élek, 18 éves vagyok". Anyway: are you Russian? I would not think after your login-name. Sorry for my German. misibacsi*üzenet 2018. június 23., 20:52 (CEST)
Köszönöm, I am going to correct that. And about the login name: well, it is my real name (Liske Vitali), but in the Crootch language (https://dreamfiction.wikia.com/wiki/Crootch_language). "Eniisi" comes from enna - "real, living" and "Vitali" comes from vita - "a life"; Lisika means "an eagle" in Crootch. Eniisi Lisika vita 2018. június 23., 21:04 (CEST) Eniisi
Hyphen to dash
[szerkesztés]Hi,
That's good to see that you change hyphens to dashes, and most of the time fortunately correctly. But I've accepted some of your edits, and I have noticed that you had changed hyphens to dashes multiple times when there was/is an estimation: (at least in Hungarian) in the case of estimation, the hyphen should have been kept, because the dash means an exact range, whilst using hyphen denotes and approximate data (like here: Vallásilag iszlám a lakosság 97-99%-a; in English: (approximately) about 97/99 per cent of the population is the follower of islam).

Thank you, I will know that since this time. Eniisi Lisika vita 2018. június 27., 17:45 (CEST) Eniisi
Thank you for your understanding. Csuja 2018. június 27., 17:50 (CEST)
Hello
"Vallási megoszlás" in the above article.
You "corrected" wrongly the hyphens and the "-a", because they stick together like this "4,8%-a". That is the only correct version, please stay with it. Have a good time in Hungarian WP! And thanks for your other corrections! misibacsi*üzenet 2018. július 5., 16:51 (CEST)
Vespian translation of my short story
[szerkesztés]Hi,
Thanks for the Vepsian translation of my short story, I have just discovered that. Do you speak Vepsian then? How is your Finnish? they are so close. I speak Finnish well...

- Hello, ნორბერტ კიში. I can speak Vepsian but not very well; if I write something in Vepsian, I always have to use a dictionary. I actually live in the region where the last speakers of this language live but, unfortunately, none of my relatives can speak it (my great grandmother was able to speak Karelian and Finnish but not Vepsian). I noticed how close Vepsian and Finnish are, however it is still very difficult for me to understand Finnish in any form. I would say, Vepsian is more conservative: it preserves some grammatical cases that are absent in Finnish now, for example, the comitative case: koiranke "with the dog", and, moreover, its lexycon contains many words that look completely differently in Finnish, for example, V. meletada "think" – F. ajatella (a possible Iranic loan), V. toimetada, el'geta (a Baltic loan) "understand" – F. ymmärtää (a Germanic loan), V. kalu "thing" – F. asia. The basic lexycon and the grammar of these language are mostly very similar; the pronunciation in Vepsian is simplier compared to that in Finnish: no long vowels at all. And some words about Hungarian: I really love this language! It is beautiful, mysterious and great. I am not sure whether I am going to learn Hungarian because the pronunciation seems too complicated for me. Eniisi Lisika vita 2021. május 5., 15:00 (CEST)
Italic texts
[szerkesztés]Hi! I noticed you are changing brackets, and quotation marks not be in italic around the italic text. However in Hungarian typography no strict rules for this. Ones say, there is no space between the signs and the text, so it should be emphasized as the text (bold, italic, etc.), others say they are no letters, so it is useless to emphasized... So, anyway, it has not big difference, really not mistake, to be corrected. Best whishes, JSoos vita 2024. július 1., 14:02 (CEST)
