Their love was so overwhelming that they decided to move to Eger and apply to the theatre. They got accepted and both of them became a supernumerary, part-time actor/actress.

In 1964 Ilona and László got married and two years later in 1966 their only child, Gábor was born.

The family moved to Miskolc to work at the local theatre: Miskolci Nemzeti Színház. Then, the parents had the opportunity to play at the theatre of Kaposvár thus László and his wife moved again and left their child with his grandmother at his mother's hometown: Nekézseny. It was a hard period for the family but at the same time the parents run a high success in their career.
