A De La Soul Is Dead a De La Soul hiphop-együttes 1991 május 13-án megjelent 2. stúdióalbuma, melynek producere Prince Paul volt.[1] Az első stúdióalbum a 3 Feet High and Rising című első albumot a kritikusok kedvezően ihlették. A 2. album a 100 legjobb rap albumok listáján is szerepel.[2] Többen úgy ítélik meg, hogy az egyik legjobb hiphopalbum a 90-es évekből.[3] A Rolling Stone a 87. helyre sorolta az albumot, míg a Pitchork Media a 63. helyre.
Az albumról 3 kislemez jelent meg 7" 12" bakeliten, és Maxi CD-n.[4][5][6][7]
